It's a 1993 Aerostar van w/ AWD. Static drop of about 4". The AWD version isn't very easy to lower, but the rear is a triangulated 3 link from the factory! 17" wheels and tires. Multi colored overlapping flames, with some old school tricks on the hood and hatch. The stereo consists of a Rockford Fosgate head unit, 8 Full range speakers from Pioneer and Blaupunkt, and 2 15" Kicker subs. All powered by a Crossfire 5 channel amp putting out a little over 550 watts. Running through a Fosgate EQ and a Crossfire 3 channel crossover. Getting the juice from a red top Optima battery. I have a few red neon accent throughout the interior just for fun! Custom cat back exhaust with a 4" tip coming through the rear bumper. Also added a fresh air intake that I built myself.I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, but that's about it for now.
By the way, I'm not really a kid any more. I'm getting ready for my 47th birthday, and I still get a kick out of people obviously younger than me who yell at me to turn down my stereo!!
Live life and love life!!
I'm givin' some updates that I've made recently. The Crossfire amp is still in place, but the sub channel is now driving a 10" Audiobahn sub in the center console. The 2 15" Kickers are still there, but now get power from an Audiobahn 800 watt mono amp. This combo really made the stereo come to freakin' life!!! I've also worked out some front clearance issues, and have been able to drop the front another inch. And by the way, The note earlier about getting ready for my 47th. It has come and gone. Hit that in Dec. '07.
Keep livin' life and havin' fun!!
Now here is a new update on my ride.
I decided to update the look of my van by going old! 14" wheels with trim rings and whitewall tires. I left the body color where the flames are, but did the rest in satin black. I have also added a roof rack with an old surfboard on it, and an old school red metalflake steering wheel.
