About my B1800

so i fell in love with this body style while living in  ontario canada, but never saw one in real life. i moved to alberta and found a mazda and pick up..i bought is as soon as i could. so after it sitting in a feild for a couple months as i  dealt with my ford ranger, we towed it to  my buddies garage. "and when i say garage i mean garage..lol." .. ordered up my triangular 4 link slam bags  valves and what not.. while the truck sat in the garage  we got trigger happy..   the truck was already the smallest truck my friends and i had seen, but something was bothering me.. and it was the style of the body where the cab matches the bed. the cab sat 4 inches lower than the bed. the only  solution we could come up with was to  body drop the cab  and cut the rockers off  so  the the door now would match up with the  bottom of the bed.  my friends cory and seth and i had never  done anything of the type ( body drop)  so we cut away and leanred alot..  all of us are in the trades so we  get how things go together..  so about 6 days later the body drop was complete.. haha.. it just took me about 8 more months to make everything work again.. lol..  4 inch body drop.. means your steering box and your brake master are now  in very close  proximity... it got to the point where i had to go out and pick up a second truck..  i bought a 74 courier that was the donor truck for alot of the stuff we screwed up in the process.. all in all  im very happy with this truck.. and look forward to  baggin the next project.. 71 datsun.... cant beat the classics...

oh yeah.. GREAT job!  Would be super-SWeeT if someone found a Courier/Mazda with the ROTARY! Those old trucks SKreeEMeD!! LUve olde metal.. *Live life so you're not the only one at your funeral.*
PS. If you (or anyone) wants the olde-style 1930-50's "blue-dots" for the rear lens I have a couple xtra pair. Lemme know as I gotta clear the back garage (I'll even throw in a couple free music CDs)! ..although JCWhitney may still carry them[?]. Follow Godpeace.
